A hypothetical comparison
Suppose the same basket costs 80 units in each option. Delivery adds 6 units in delivery charges, 4 in service charges and a chosen tip of 8: the total is 98 before any other applicable charges. Pickup has no added charge in this example, so its total is 80, plus your own travel cost. These figures are invented for illustration.
The useful question is whether the extra 18 units are worth the time and trip saved. For a subscription, add its cost over the same comparison period and count only orders you actually expect to place. Do not assume a membership removes every other fee.
Common questions
Does free delivery mean no extra charges?
Read the itemized total. A delivery-fee waiver is not necessarily a waiver of other charges, and eligibility may depend on the basket and address.
What if an item is unavailable?
Check the service's replacement and refund options before ordering. After fulfillment, compare the final items and charges with what you authorized.
Is a membership worth it for occasional orders?
